A trip to the world’s largest photography and imaging event  - Photokina - is the major prize in an exciting new photographic contest launched by Photo & Imaging News in association with leading distributor Adeal and exhibition organiser Koelmesse GmbH.

Open to anyone working in photo or CE retail, entrants to the competition simply need to take of photo of one three branded products from the Adeal stable and add a German flavour to the image. The featured brands are:

• Leica
• Manfrotto
• Kata

Think Photokina and think of Germany – the Rhine, Bavarian Alps, bratwurst, lederhosen, autobahns, beer steins and, of course, schnapps.

Entrants can enter as many times as they like.

The winner of the best image of one of the selected Adeal products (with a German flavour) will receive a return trip to Photokina, to be held in September 2010 in Cologne, Germany. The prize includes including return airfares from any capital city in Australia, 4 star accommodation, VIP access to Photokina, VIP treatment at the Leica, Kata and Manfrotto stands and an exclusive tour of the Leica factory in Germany.

Selected entries in the competition will be published in the PIN Email Newsletter, on the PIN website www.photoandimagingnews.com.au and in Photo & Imaging News magazine.

The winner will be announced on August 6, 2010.
