A Photographer's Rights to Snap Others

While some councils and even event organisers are dreaming up rules and regulations for photographers, former lawyer Andrew Nemeth has put together an incisive guide to a NSW photographer's rights on the web.

"In a nutshell, says Andrew, "the right to photograph strangers" is purely a subjective question of étiquette & taste. Aside from "commercial usage", there's no legal requirement to obtain consent."
